Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Schumer's Check In (the "Service"), a daily wellness check-in app for sports teams, available at schumercheckin.com. The Service is provided by Schumer's check in ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms and enter into an agreement with Schumer's check in.

The Service

Coaches create teams and invite players. Players log sleep, energy, wellbeing and, optionally, their menstrual cycle; coaches see team-level insights. The Service is a wellness tool and is not medical advice or a medical device.

Accounts

  • You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login details confidential — you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • If you sign up on behalf of a club or organisation, you confirm you are allowed to do so. Players under 16 should use the Service with permission from a parent or guardian.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

  • using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to send spam;
  • infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
  • interfering with its security — such as uploading malware, probing for vulnerabilities, or scraping;
  • reverse engineering, reselling, or getting around technical limits of the Service.

Intellectual property

We own the Service and all related software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your team(s) while your account is active. You keep ownership of the data you enter; you allow us to store and process it only to provide the Service.

Pricing, payments and subscriptions

Players use the Service for free. Coaches pay €15 per team per month, after a 14-day free trial per team. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. When cancelled, access continues until the end of the paid period. If a trial ends or a subscription lapses without payment, the team is paused until a subscription is active again; existing data is kept.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

Availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or improve features over time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to the Service for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; your data is then deleted.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; if changes are significant we will let you know in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes go to the competent Dutch courts.
